Recently, my friend Clement invited me to attend a product design competition hosted by L’Oreal Paris. I had never attended a competition like this before, so this came to be a unique experience for me. I wouldn’t say that I’m gifted in the cosmetic designing area; however, I was lucky that Clement is somehow an expert in designing. I enjoyed working with my team; Clement provided lots of support, and Esme, our other teammate, was efficient and collaborative. No matter what the outcome is, this will always be a memorable experience for me.
Here is my proud presentation of our final outcome of the project!
Three pages would not be enough to explain all the works we’ve done behind it and all the thoughts we’ve tried to express.
We were named “Croissant au San Diego” because L’Oréal Paris is a Paris company, and we are three students from San Diego.
The product slogan is “I come and I go” because Clement literally loves Dua Lipa.
We did research about social justice focuses, what do people care most about, and what is in lack of focus.
We did a survey about what male customers care about the most.
There are too many things, memories, and meetings behind these three pages. Honestly, of course, we are not the best team that came up with the best product, but why can’t I say that we are also the champions?
