Info session at PET class

It’s my pleasure that I was invited to attend the closing ceremony of Parental Effectiveness Training class in Seattle. After their graduation, I was invited to give an info session, introducing my non-profit.

I feel like I receive some surprise every time I speak about my non-profit in public. After today’s presentation, one of the student at PET class came to me and we had a conversation. She used to be a psychology therapist in China, however, after moving to the US, she’s taking care of her children and didn’t get the chance to finish her 100 hours internship yet. Even though she’s a certified therapist, she couldn’t work in an official company to provide therapy. She is very helpful, and she told me that she’s happy to provide free therapy if client from my non-profit needs it. This is the first therapist that my non-profit had built relationship with.
