Last Saturday, one of my friend from an organization called Beaver With U, which is a non-profit organization that supports aboard students in Canada, came to me and asked if I have the time to do some share out in their cathedra. I delightedly agreed and planned to share about my non-profit organization.
Most surprisingly, my friend came to me after the meeting asking about my organization. I wasn’t familiar with her before, we don’t communicate that much and I don’t think she noticed that I have a non-profit organization. Anyway, after hearing my presentation, she’s interested in my organization! She wants to join me! I was feeling so glad and so pleasure, because I never imagined any of my friend will want to join me with doing this.
She’a more an expert on these business than me. Not only that she joined, she also invited one of her classmate joined. All these just happened last Monday and Tuesday. We quickly scheduled a meeting on Wednesday, when I described to both of them what I’m doing, and what I will want them to do. They spoke from their experience that they think we should start a social media first, which I’m not good at dealing with technical stuffs so I never thought about this before.
Today, our first social media post was sent on instagram. What a remarkable day!
