In March, my parents feel like it will be a waste of time for me if I go back to China and quarantine for 21 days this summer, so they decided that I will stay in Seattle over the summer.
My mom found out the the University of Washington has summer program, and she think it’s a good chance for me to spend my summer there. I spent some time exploring their website, and doing the application, and fortunately I was accepted. So later this month, I will start taking class in UW, and explore what my life might be like in the future, when I eventually turn into a college student.
I am kind of nervous, but also excited, I think I will enjoy it.
Next time, if I want to apply for any summer program again, or if anyone who’s reading this post is interested in applying into any summer program, don’t wait till March to start this!! Don’t wait till the last minutes!
