I was having too much fun at home that I forgot about my blog. I am going back to the US next week, and this is the last post I will have before I go back.
I forgot if I have mentioned this in the earlier posts, I had been living in the US for around 2 years when I was in elementary. It’s been so long that I haven’t lived in the US, I mean not traveling but daily living. After living in the US for a year again, and now coming back to China, I do realize that there are some cultural difference that I haven’t notice in the past, since I was too young by them.
For example, I think China is very used to this kind of mobilized life, we solve everything on our phone, WeChat is doing and controlling everything. Though, in US, I still don’t think there are any app in the US that can be like WeChat, so comprehensive and so irreplaceable. An App that can do everything, when you go out, all you need to bring with you is a phone that have WeChat on it, then you are able to do anything.
I actually like that kind of life in Beijing better. Seattle is a place that have really slow pace; people are close to nature; people enjoy nature and enjoy their flexible time. However, in Beijing, everything’s fast; people on the street are busy; people don’t have too much of their free time; people are always in a rush. These traits actually made Beijing a place that’s more convenience, because people care more about efficiency.
Anyway, a share out of some pictures with my friends 🙂 I feel so good to see them again, I enjoy my time a lot. Also, I’m looking forward to go back to Seattle and start with my new school year.
This is my roommate when I was in my third middle school (Keystone).

This is actually my teacher when I was studying in Beijing Television Station, and now we are friends. He is a really wise person.

This is a friend from my first middle school (the Chinese public school).

These two are my friends from Keystone. We spent a lot of time playing video games and calling each other during covid time.

This is one of my senior schoolmates in my Chinese public school. We know each other from debate club.
