2020 had been a tough year, and finally, we get to the next starting point 🎉
In January, covid-19 officially announced as a serious issue in China, Wuhan was shut down, my dad was locked in the city.
In February, the school decided that we will stay home and start remote classes, this is when I first started remote learning in my life, the start of zoom, teams, and everything online.
In April, my dad was finally able to come back to Beijing, after 72 days of home quarantine in Wuhan.
In June, Jun 1st, the international children day, I was finally able to return to school in-person. However, after three weeks, cases bursted out in the area again. I got the message at 6 in the morning that we are not going to school, we need to pack everything from dorm and return home, back to online.
In July, July 25th, I arrived to the US, beginning my new school and new life.
In August, August 4th, I had the first orientation meeting with my current school.
In September, September 7th, my first day of new school, new class, new remote.
……
Covid is still going on, the world was still accommodating with the new environments, who knows what’s going to happen in the new year.
Anyway, I wish the best for 2021, for me, for my family and friends, and for the world. Wish I will be able to get a good outcome of the year, wish my family and friends all healthy and happy, and wish the covid end as soon as possible.
