On one hand, excited to start my ninth grade, start my high school, start my new remote learning! On the other hand, I have to say, the schedule of class are soooo messy…
I don’t even know how many day’s of class I had already. I forgot to attend the meeting that’s talking about the schedule before the beginning of school days, and a new friend I met in this school, who’s currently living in China, sent me the ppt the teacher had shared. Well, what I’ve seen from that schedule, it seems like we are having classes through 9 in the morning to 8 in the evening?? What in the world???
This schedule in one hundred percent confusing. I was still confused with what time I should be going to class even I’ve already attended a week of class.
I hear other students in the Chinese students’ group chat talking about their free period, I don’t even know which period is my free period. For some days in the week, I have math in the morning at nine, then a science and a journalism at noon. For the other two days of the week, I only have a physical education at afternoon and no other classes during day time.
I’m in the ELL (english language literature) program, there are only five students in the ELL program, and three of them are currently in China. Since the school want to give them synchronous classes, the school set the classes’ time at 6-8pm EST. Which is 9 in the morning for China. Impressive for the ones currently living in the US (not)! I don’t even have time for dinner. And I have nothing to do through out the whole afternoon.
I’m still working on getting along with the school’s culture and the schedule. Fingers cross for me, wish I will be able to get along with them as soon as possible.
